Image Comics Community

This year we saw new books like Hack/Slash, Avengelyne and Shinku join Image. Next year we're getting Fatale, Glory and Witchblade is reverting to her 90's style. This trend is not only at Image, Dynamite has Vampirella and Red Sonja ongoings. DC- Catwoman, Birds of Prey. So it would seem the "badgirls" are back, is this a good or bad thing for the comics industry?

I think Bad Girls have always been around.

Are they more prominent than before or returning to the front of the line? Not sure. Personally, I think we're just seeing more diversity in comics because the market has more titles. Some of these new titles will hold a flame for the old style bad girl, some will ride the fence and others will have their own style.

As for Image... well, it is the house of a thousand styles, so I wouldn't say it's a come back it's more of Image Comics continuing the awesome sauce from their various studios and imprints.

Since this is an Image site I dont think it's appropriate to talk about other comics like DC.

So was it 5 or 6? Or are you not sure how to count that high? I was refering to the DC comic references. This isn't the appropriate place to talk about that. Dont get mad at me "It's the rules".

Not the law. Just trying to help. The mods seem to pick and choose what they think is "appropriate". Even if it goes against the "Rules".
