Well, I read more comics than I care to admit here. But, I'll hit the highlights.

Sweet Tooth - Best book out there. Only sells around 5,000 copies a month. What is wrong with you?
American Vampire, Batman, Severed and Swamp Thing for the Snyder love
Frankenstein and Animal Man for Lemire
Walking Dead
Chew
Wolverine and the X-Men - haven't read the X-Men in probably 20 years, but this is a really good book
Uncanny X-Force - really just started, but I've heard good things (and it's been good so far)
Venom
Scarlet Spider - I hope it stays good and, if so, sticks around
Near Death

You absolutely should, seeing as you like The Walking Dead. Post-apocalyptic is fun! Can't guarantee you'll like it, of course, but I'm guessing/hoping you will.

Wait, what? Hmmmm... might need to take a stab at that. I guess I never really knew what it was about.

I'm not going to post my whole pull list, but I will post all the new titles that have got my attention in 2012.

PROPHET (BRANDON GRAHAM!)
SUPREME (ERIK LARSEN!)
SAGA (BRIAN K. VAUGHAN!)
FAIREST (BILL WILLINGHAM!)
NEW DEADWARDIANS (DAN ABNETT!)
CONAN THE BARBARIAN (BRIAN WOOD!)
SAUCER COUNTRY (PAUL CORNELL!)
THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS (JONATHAN HICKMAN!)

Coming to DARK HORSE PRESENTS this year:
BUDDY COPS (DOC SHANER!)
THE MASSIVE (BRIAN WOOD AGAIN!)
NEXUS (STEVE RUDE!)
HOUSE OF FUN (EVAN DORKIN!)
BLACK BEETLE (FRANCESCO FRANCAVILLA!)

Comic to 2000 AD this year:
AGE OF THE WOLF 2 (JON DAVIS-HUNT!)
THE ZAUCER OF ZILK (BRENDAN McCARTHY!)
INSURRECTION III (DAN ABNETT AGAIN!)
SNAPSHOT (ANDY DIGGLE! JOCK!)

So yeah... comics!

Yeah, I don't want to say too much, but there was a plague, most people died, and "animal kids" started popping up--like our star, Gus, who is mainly a normal boy, but with some deer features. It's kind of Dark Tower more than TWD, but it's really great stuff. Lemire is getting notices for his writing on the New 52, but his art remains underrated. Except for special episodes where he turns over the art duties to friends, he writes and draws every issue of Sweet Tooth.

Sweeth Tooth is good. I dropped it about a year back and sold off my singles of 1-20 or so with the intention of switching over to trades. Although it was good, there isn't much story in each single issue and each issue kind of felt exactly the same never switching tone at all. It's definitely a fantastic book. I just think the story works better in big chunks.
