Excellent concept, very entertaining story, and Pugh is all money on the art work, so please -why NOT another run at Shark-Man?

Why not just continue on with New Venice as a setting for the Gaskill fam as well as new characters from California and beyond...???

Is it because Image is afraid of SUCCESS...? The Walking Dead 'gotten too much for y'all? Cant take the heat? -Well Ive got just the place for ya and its just off the Cali coast, ...in the future, ...lots and lots of sharks, ...!

Word to yer mutha

(still love'n GODLAND btw, /peace)

Was Shark-Man even a success?

I don't think it was. Didn't it poop out before it was finished even? I can't recall.

I was also collecting Shark-Man at one point. However, after issue 1, the rest of series never appeared at my store. :(

I was looking through some of my '80s comic boxes and was stunned to see Shark-Man in the front. I guess I put it there when I moved last year. Don't even remember buying it. There was also a book behind it called Cryptid. I don't even knows what that is.

He should have been more anthropomorphic.

There was an issue 2 published by image; the art was as stunning as the first issues but the writing was terrible; made it seem like you'd missed an entire issue. If you are a fan of Pugh's painted work or even just brilliant artwork I highly recommend his HOTWIRE trades from Radical; stunning art, not bad writing and great extras in the back.
