I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that there is actually an awesome science fiction comic out, and if your not reading it you should check it out. In a sci-fi comic market that (no offense) kind of sucks this comic stands out and stands up there with some of the greats in comics. A strange and weird goodness slightly reminescent of something Moebius might dream up lives in the pages of this book. I give that nod but yet this book is wholly original, Brandon, Simon, and Richard your making a much appreciated science fiction masterpiece. I even dig the idea of having back-ups in it, very cool. Marian's cover for #21 was excellent, as are the rest of the covers. Check out her issues of Elephantmen, another cool sci-fi comic.

Prophet is definitely in the top 1% of science fiction comics right now, I will agree with that. But there is a pretty good crop of sci-fi comics floating around, its actually a really good time to be a science fiction and a comics fan.

Well, lets see of the new and on-going... RASL, Spaceman, Manhattan Projects, Planetoid, 2000 AD, Saga, Saucer Country, ElephantMen, er... Mega Man (seriously).

Upcoming stuff like; Mind MGMT, Resident Alien, Dogs of Mars, Higher Earth, and Hybersapiens are all looking promising

Finder got a pair of really swank collected editions last year. Naoki Urasawa's Pluto, arguably one of the greatest sci-fi comics of all time got a US edition in the last few years.

Like I said, good times for fans of Science Fiction of all kinds.

Flash Gordon: Zietgiest, is also pretty good. But what I really like about Prophet is that you never know whats gonna happen.

I just re-read Prophet #23 today... I love how the old version of himself he finds in the control seat of the G.O.D. satellite is dress like the Prophet from the 90's run. Good, good stuff.

Prophet is definitely up there.

But after the last issue of Glory, I think Keatinge & Campbell gave Prophet a run for its money.
