I told Mark very early on that I would only ever be happy if I got to draw every single character in the Extreme universe in the pages of Avengy, so the abundance of characters might be my fault. Love drawing these characters. Only thing that would make me happier would be to get the Invincible and Savage Dragon pantheon of villains involved in there at some point. One day maybe.

Mr. Poulton, you got my attention with "Battlestone"!

Well that was Sgt.Marvel holding the God Gun wasn't it? I thought the cameo splash page was awesome. The more old image characters the better! This series is a hidden gem right now. Hopefully the re-launch of Extreme will bring some more notierity to it. I just picked up the first 3 last week and enjoyed # 4 today. Very awesome work, guys. Keep it up!

Thanks PeteM. Mark and I plan on cranking issues out monthly for the long haul, and hopefully build up the audience as we go. Win people over with our pluck and determination.

Hopefully, Owen and I can put aside some time next week to record issue 4 commentary for our podcast. There's some interesting tidbits on the Coven and Devlin appearances. Our original choices for those 2 spots were different characters, but I think it turned out much better using the ones we did.

Dark-Flux,

Awesome. I'm glad I won you over.

Yeah, I was a little worried I might not be focusing on Avengelyne enough, but I'm trying to set up the cast for the first 2 years worth of stories. The core cast will be Avengelyne, Father Peter, Passover, and Heaven. But characters like Priest, the Coven, Devlin, Bloodwulf, etc. will play parts throughout the first big storyline. Don't expect to see the Coven again for awhile and I don't have plans for Bloodwulf again until around issue 10.

Oh, and yeah, I loved incorporating Operation: Knightstrike into Priest's past. It would only make sense this guy had some serious military training and who better to learn from than Chapel and Battlestone.

Since Chapel has experience with demon possesion, I would like to see him interact more with the characters in this book.

I have a quick question and I'm not sure if this has been answered already but doesn't Loeb and Churchill own the Coven characters?

Is Al Simmons in this version of Operation: Knightstrike?

I think the original lineup was:

Chapel
Dutch
Cabbot
Battlestone
Al Simmons

Am I forgetting anyone?
