I enjoyed the interview. I've been trying to track all of the back issues recently but the Avatar stuff has eluded me so far. So somewhat relieved that you aren't really using that stuff. I can't wait to read it all. I even get Passover, Priest and Devlin. Yay!

So Ive started to read the old Avengelyne stuff. Only finished the original mini and the two Glory crossovers so far but they've been fun. I wasn't expecting to see Devlin blow up so he obviously gets resurrected fairly early on. Pretty excited to get through why I've got. Still need a few books to complete the collection, including #1 of the old ongoing.

Didn´t know you were that much into the Extreme (?) Universe as well, Gavin.

Yep! I'm no way near as obsessed as I am with SD but yeah, I love the Extreme stuff. There's definite low points but the universe itself was so much fun. A lot of talented guys worked on the books and there's several very underrated books amongst them.

I'm a huge Extreme fan myself. I think I have everything except for some New Men books, which I can't believe I don't have considering what a big Todd Nauck fan I am.

Dave Bullock, director of the Emmy nominated Justice League: The New Frontier movie, provides the back-up story to Avengelyne #6, which is in stores next week. Here's a sneak preview!

I'm missing 4 issues of Supreme (30, 41, 42, 43, 55... although I've read 3 of those in the Checker Moore trades) and the first issues for Avengelyne's first and second volumes (but have v1 in trade form). Other than that, there's a few Awesome books I'm missing and a bunch of the non-Rob owned Maximum Press projects.

I've been able to get everything else though. Not too bad as they were almost all bought as back issues as I didn't start getting them until roughly 10 years ago.

It's been fun reading all of this stuff as I write a full character appendix fir the Extreme Universe.

And I think Newmen was my favourite series, perhaps tied with volume 2 of Youngblood. Eric Stephenson wrote both and I hope he does bring back Newmen. I'd get ridiculously excited about that.

Bleeding Cool had an article on Avengelyne and Skullkickers yesterday. Both of us have launched our comics over on Keenspot as webseries. 6 weeks in and Avengelyne already has over 1 million page views!
