Yup.

Basically, it's like Marvel Previews. It will be included with Diamond Previews, but also on its own. It will have previews of new Image releases, but also interviews, articles, serialized comics, and other cool stuff. 64 pages for only $1.99.

Kinda like Inside Image and The Mighty I, from back in the 90s.

Hmn.

Does this mean Image is eliminating their section from the PREVIEWS catalog as Marvel did?

Pretty good and informative so far, have the first 2 issues and the 3rd comes out Wednesday. Good to see the previews and information and interviews that Previews wouldn't be able to put in their main catalog. I wonder what story will be next when the Negan one is done?

Well, the Negan story doesn't do anything for me, as I'm not into Walking Dead. (*GASP!* How is that possible?! Because AFAIC it's a knockoff of DEADWORLD, which has been around before Image even existed, that's how.)

As far as the interviews... It's really of a mixed bag. I was already reading MONSTRESS, and I always like reading stuff with Marjorie Liu, so okay, her interview was interesting. The rest of the first issue, didn't have much other memorable stuff in it for me - maybe the Chynna Clugston Flores interview. The second issue had... uhm... maybe the column in the back by Esther Kim? The third issue however was packed, with the Seven to Eternity, Surgeon X, and Hadrian's Wall previews and talent interviews, the interview with Brandon Thomas & Juan Gedeon talking about their project Horizon, and the column by Karen Berger.

Granted, it's just about who / what I'm personally interested in.

Unfortunately, now that it's not going to be free with PREVIEWS, my LCS probably won't be ordering it. I don't think they get that many copies, and they didn't promote the Walking Dead special feature story that was in it. (While I presume Kirkman made note of it in the TWD comic to remind everyone that they wanted it, but it doesn't seem to have made any notable difference, probably because there is an assumption by audiences that the Negan story will eventually be collected as a one-shot or in an omnibus at some point and they can wait for it then.)

Issue #6 was cool. Finally they say the truth on how Image Comics has changed from superheroes comics when we were kids to 'real comics' of looks into fictional characters lives nowadays. And that Eric Stephenson says that this, "is the new creativity."
