Looks like Dark Horse and Oni Press have a new neighbor.

I heard about this too!! I live in the bay area, and will be sad to see it go. Image Expo was nice. Heck, I say, just send them a real nice email, expressing gratitude, for how they connected with fans so well on the internet, and in the bay. Marvel comics makes more money than their business if you're an artist, buying more Marvel comics like me, but Image Comics will help you out more on Kickstarter, and here. But, also, being an artist helps me miss many Marvel comics issues, and to buy more Image Comics issues. 'Artists' created Image Comics too. It wasn't felt like that at Image Expo though. Many fans weren't artists embracing it to keep Image Comics in the bay. Like how Eric Stephenson said that the culture in the bay has changed. (He said something like that) Many Image Expo fans at the Cartoon Art Museum party were hard to relate to artistically, but we were all on Kickstarter maybe. Lol :D

The rents have skyrocketed and for many working at the Image office--it just became unaffordable. The Image office rent was skyrocketing too. It just became obvious that Image had to move or risk losing a large portion of its staff.

Larsen, I remember when you moved out of the Oakland Image building, or maybe it was the Berkeley one. And you told me that Image Comics building was never open to the public. But we could e-mail them though as explained on their contacts page. I'd like for all of us fans in the bay area to exchange a goodbye flashback even before they start moving out in autumn (the fall) which starts this week. Maybe in the e-mail, they'll say, "take BART here, and meet us outside the building, and drink a soda." Lol :-)

I'm guessing that's unlikely to happen but you're welcome to try.
