It really is gorgeous up there all year round. Even in winter when all the tress get iced over.

If any of you ever go to Mountain Creek (waterpark in summer ski/snowboard resort in winter) the town is 5 mins away.

Wes is the Chamber of Commerce. All he tells people is what he hates about the state.

I couldn't deal with the cold! Everything I love to do is warm weather only. Plus, I hate bundling up because when I go inside I sweat and when I go outside I freeze. You learn to love the heat, but it is the humidity that gets ya. I wouldn't mind escaping this crap for a week. Everything sticks to you like a wet kleenex just walking to the car.

But I do love those iconic winter nights drinking cocoa and sleeping with 4 blankets.

One day I will be well-off enough to travel to all the cities and places I want to visit. One day. I love travel/outdoors.

You haven't lived until you've done a winter hike on the Lake Superior North Shore. It's like being on the ocean in the Antarctic

Euge was trying to retrace Christopher Reeves steps (back when he could walk) from Superman II but ended up too far south.
