just wait, playoff time that dood always kicks it into high gear, he was solid as shit every year since, cut him slack hes old, there gonna get into the playoffs with or without him, just wait till hes thrown in and is draining 3's or hitting game winning shots still, teams overlook players this this and always get rid of them but hes always clutch for things like that

Have you been watching the Lakers games this year though? He's been getting torched on D game in, game out and can't seem to make a 3 to save his life. I have a hard time seeing how he's just going to "flip the switch" once the playoffs start since he's been playing so poorly the entire season. Honestly, even if he was still knocking down shots and hadn't lost a few steps, I don't think he fits in Mike Brown's system. He was a perfect fit for the triangle, but has never been a playmaker, and that's what you need at the point in Brown's offense. That's why Kobe's been really running the point most of this year. Because as ineffective as he's been at times, he's still been a hell of a better option than Fish.

Here's a great article about why the Lakers' offense looks so much better with a legitimate PG. It's more about Ramon Sessions and what he adds to the team, but also heavily focuses on why the "give the ball to Kobe and get out of the way" offense the Lakers have been forced to run with Fisher and Blake at the point under Mike Brown doesn't work.

This video also is more about what Ramon Sessions brings to the Lake Show, but also shows the weaknesses in Fisher and Blake's games. Pretty great breakdown.

People are stupid enough to pay it.

i still say hes a good dood to have on your team, if i remember correctly he didnt do too well a few years ago in regular season either and made a few game winning shots in the playoffs, id love to have him as a back up point guard on my team, hes a great leader too and for all the young guys on okc i think having someone like him can help them out

i think its stupid too, i think instead of worrying about super teams they need to work on getting the players to be a little more respectable, i can stand how after every shot every player bitches and moans about a foul, its gettin out of hand how everyone is flopping all the time too

Dwight Howard agrees.
