Spoilers for Invincible #92:










So the Invincible solicitation says that Mark is getting stronger. Do we think that means stronger compared to his current weakened state or stronger as in stronger than he used to be (which would likely lead to a confrontation with Thragg)?

i think they mean hes like gaining his strength back, but like i said awhile ago i think mark gets stronger everytime he pushes his body to the limits, so this virus can make mark really really strong, just sucks we gotta wait till september to finish this robot and monster girl story

Agreed. They didn't touch on it for over 10 issues and then they are stretching it out over a 5 part story. Hope it's awesome or that's going to be a let down.

Maybe it'll be a mega-powered up and rehabbed Mark vs Thragg in a battle to the death in Vince 100. Jus' guessin'.

That's kinda what it sounds like they are building up to. I kinda hope not though. It's too soon for Mark to reach Thragg levels. It would seem a little dues ex machina. Of course, Kirkman and Ottley can make pretty anything seem awesome so I'm sure whatever happens will be cool.

Maybe it will be the old that which does not kill you makes you stronger bit. Once he starts regaining strength he may have a new upper limit.

IDK, I'm sorta hoping for a reprieve from the whole overarching Viltrumite struggle. I'm hoping it reaches at least a temporary conclusion by Vince 100. I just want to see longer term credible and dangerous threats to Mark that aren't mustachioed. Sorta like how Dinosaurus was for a minute. That doesn't mean Thragg has to die, of course.

Mark at Thragg levels would be a horrible idea.... who would he fight? No enemy on Earth would be threatening knowing he is that strong
