by the way, sometime in the past, i perhaps used to be slightly more (but certainly not entirely) like what you describe. i just guess that at some point, i (completely unselfconsciously) woke up some day and decided that if - metaphorically banging my head against a brick wall all the time - hurt so much, then perhaps i should just stop doing that, then. so i try (and still fail at that, from time to time) enjoy the game for the game, the comic for the comic, at face-value, no strings attached.

Dosbox emulates dos and you can run basically any game in it from that, I have the doom 3 bfg edition on PS3 though and it has doom 1 and 2 on it

It is in finding "why" that we learn the "Because". Plus, I refuse to live in a world that does not have flush toilets in it.
De-constructionist thinking especially tied to efficiency and engineering solutions leds to things like flush toilets, printing presses, planes, ect.

I would hope so, I do work at a retro game store lol this little like 6 year old came in today with his mom and he was talking about dos and unbuntu and stuff lol he was all about old technology, it's crazy that kids his age are still into all the stuff we grew up

I never got into any of those games. Seemed like Id just get dizzy and my eyes would get irritated looking at it.

Doom was the first networked video game I every played. Sure there was Pong, Pacman, and other Atari games but Doom was something special.
