To Marcc, unfortunately it's not about giving money. It's about control. When we give, we get, or we don't give. Let me explain. When we give aid, it's always under preconditions. When a country is starving, we give them aid... for the rights to place a military base on their soil or for access to their mineral rights. We don't help others. We just feed our own self interests, and have for quite some time now. Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, our interest in these countries is both for financial gain and for strategic military gains.

We've now spent something like 300 times the budget on these middle eastern wars than what we were originally sold. Also, we were originally sold a load of bullshit about going after Al Qaeda, when Al Qaeda is NOT a country or ruling power in any country. Hell, in Iraq, Saddam had Al Qaeda members imprisoned or executed. Why? Because he wanted his secularist government, because it meant more money and power for him. Do you remember being told that the reason we went into Iraq in the first place is because they were in cahoots with Al Qaeda. They would mention 9/11 EVERY FUCKING TIME that they would talk about Iraq, and there were ZERO connections! Then why? Why did we take out Saddam? Well, when originally sacked Iraq back in the 70's we... WE installed Sadaam as a puppet dictator and we got all the oil and strategic millitary bases. Then, Sadaam said, FUCK YOU AMERICA, and no more oil and military bases for the US. Well, we weren't having that, were we? It's a giant fucking load.

News from any major news source in the United States is coerced and sanitized of any real info that we might need to come to our own conclusions. Why do you think we are now obsessed with Kardassian sisters, and not with world news anymore? That was the whole plan. They slowly, but surely, switched all news cycles more and more to pointless entertainment news. Remember when you were young and the entertainment part of the news took up 2 minutes out of the hour? Now its, "BREAKING NEWS!!! Kim Kardassian has a fucking sandwich with Paris Hilton!!!" It's not like this outside the US. Around the globe, people are talking about America and all the fucked up shit we do, and all the new laws we've passed to take away freedoms of our own citizens. They won't even TALK about that shit here, but they ARE talking about everywhere else. Why?

I agree 110% I've thought this for a while. I really meant more about the people than the government. How we give so much in aid to places like Africa instead of feeding our own children.

Youtube has had some amazing documentaries I've been watching. I really like a good documentary. I just finished http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... ature=plcp. I thought it was pretty good. It was worth watching just to be shown the speeches of Rober g. Ingersoll. I haven't told my mom that I am not religious but she is gonna flip out.

Ironically, I've been an Atheist for 13+ years, and I've just recently come to an insane new theory about EVERYTHING, and the amazing part is that it could be possible that all religions are right, but just interpreting the unknown and the unseen in their own ways. I'll tell you this. Everyone and every living thing on this planet gives off radiation. Not a lot. Just a tiny bit, and this radiation is measured in radio waves. We are ALL broadcasting from our cells on a shared frequency. Here's the REALLY crazy thing. The earth is surrounded by a field of energy. This energy is the same energy we produce and broadcast out. Now, let's discus the fart theory. If someone farts silently, how do you know that they've farted? The smell, right? But what if you had some surgery or accident that took away your sense of smell. You could be sitting in a room with someone, and that whole room could be filled to the rafters with that other person's stench, and you'd never have a single clue. What if there is more to be witnessed or experienced than what we have the senses to identify? That's where DMT comes in. DMT is a molecule produced by your Pineal Gland. DMT exists in EVERY LIVING THING. It's the reason you dream. Dreams are your pineal gland releasing small amounts of DMT into your system. Now, for every living thing, there are 2 points of in their life cycle that DMT is MASSIVELY DUMPED into the living organisms system. At creation and at death. You know all that tunnel of light shit? DMT. You know how Moses talked to burning bushes? DMT. DMT is the reason for hallucination. But what is DMT really doing to the brain? DMT was first discovered due to it's ceremonial use by Ayhuasscan Shamans. They found a way to extract DMT from local plant life, and then they drink it, and they leave reality. They've been doing this for centuries. But here's the thing, to them, if you call what they experience a hallucination, they take great offense, because to them, they see the visions that they have of another dimension as the REAL reality, and this life as just avatars carrying the energies that come from this other dimension. MANY people have done DMT, and the strange thing about DMT as a psychedelic drug is, NO OTHER DRUG COMES CLOSE to the mind altering powers of pure DMT. The people that do it break free from all connection to this world, to their bodies, to their minds, and they all experience remarkable similar experiences with beings of light in some place far beyond the reaches of any kind of normal reality. It's had me thinking pretty hard lately. What if the DMT that loads into us at creation and death is a chemical reaction caused by the entrance or exiting of energy. When you apply electricity to MOST things, you get a reaction. What if, the electricity running up and down your spine and spider-webbing through your brain is there because it entered you at creation? What if the same thing happens at death? That electricity goes somewhere. For every action, there is an opposite yet equal reaction. No energy just ceases to be. Something happens to it. Sounds like soul shit to me. I used to be big into String Theory, the theory that everything is sound vibrations at the lowest possible level of magnification. Sound waves, taking shape, creating matter. Big bang? Science and religion are meshing together in the strangest ways for me lately, and I'm just trying to wrap my head around it. Not an Atheist anymore. Just Agnostic, because I have no CLUE what all this means, but it's the most excited I've felt in years the more and more I think about it. Go watch a documentary called DMT: The Spirit Molecule. It's on netflix, and you might find it on the net as well. I watched that a month ago, and my head has been spinning with all these possibilities ever since. Good luck.

As someone that has died and been revived I not only saw the light but I was in a different place. It was warm and filled with something I can only describe as "Liquid Joy". If that is really reality, man, sign me up.

Now something that has been bothering me lately is why some people's butts don't move when they walk. What the hell is up with that. How the hell would someone walk normally without moving their ass? This weekend I just happened to be out and about and I noticed that some women walked and their butt never moved and they were taking a normal stride.

Interesting thoughts, Hedge. Here's the best label I could put on myself: Absurdist/Agnostic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absurdism . I think this makes my view of existence as more pessimistic than yours... 8-)

I think the closest thing we have to knowable "gods" are the planet we live on and the sun, galaxy, etc. But I think they are what they are in purely scientific terms, nothing religious/spiritual/dogmatic about them.

DMT: The Spirit Molecule sounds interesting, I'll have to check that out.
