Is it just me or is Shaving with a new razor the best feeling ever.
Also, the Blue Angels were practicing above my school today. It was awesome. They did a pass so low I could see the pilot. Isat and watched them for all of lunch. Those planes are georgous. Human aviation and space flight are so cool and interesting.
Did you know that the razors they made in the late 1800's are still able to be used today, whereas these lovely new disposable razors are actually DESIGNED to rust. It would be cheaper for them to use stainless steel blades, but they've designed their own special metal blend in those EXPENSIVE AS FUCK throw away razor heads, so that they CAN'T be reused. They call this practice, "Planned Obsolescence." And by the way, it ain't just in your razors. Most products today are designed to be as cheap as possible, so that you'll buy the cheap version, use it for months/years depending on the product, and then, when it breaks, you need a new one, and which one do you buy? THE CHEAP ONE!!! I actually have a straight razor from 1884, and it's as sharp as the day it was made. I wish we could return to the days when everything was made by hand, and with care and pride. Jesus, those Samurai would spend YEARS honing the perfect blade. THAT'S dedication. I guess now a days, they'd just buy a single use katana, and pitch it after the battle was over.
