I'm reprinting this hardcover because the first volume is so obscure I'm hearing from a lot of people that they want one but can't find it.

Also, sales on volumes 2 and 3 are slower than they could be. If you're collecting this line of hardcovers, having volume 1 in print, will ensure that later volumes sell enough so that I can keep the line alive. If there's no volume ones out there... or twos or threes, etc... it's going to be pretty hard to sell a volume 8.

But yeah, I originally planned to never reprint this... but I did keep it out of print for five years... and the first printings should always be valuable.

Yep. Like I said, I understand the "why" of it. I figured that back when you said you'd never reprint it. I should know to trust my judgment and business sense before I purchase things as a collectible. Stoopid me.

Regarding value - collections are a different beast from singles. Being out of print is about the only way they retain value. I'll just dump the ones I have while I can. If I get the urge to pick them up again, I'll get them for $40-50 shipped off ebay like the Volume 3s are going for right now.

At least I got a bit of frustration out and got you to join the boards. If you come to Megacon next year, all is forgiven!

Keep on rockin!

Yeah I got the editions for both Walking Dead and Invincible. I just realized that I've only read the Walking Dead ones. If there is a printing issue in the Invincible ones, it's too late to return them. Both are unopened. I think I'm going to be re-reading Invincible for the forseeable future.
