Fuck that... I bought the trade and LOVED it. Then waited months for #6 and bought that.... now #7 is barely coming out. If he wants my support he needs to put his book out on a consistent basis.

Well he does the art and colors himself doesn't he ? Some of those pages are mega detailed and the colors must take forever. Plus I think Orc Stain is like his labor of love not what he does to put bread on the table.

So does Larsen... and he gets his shit out monthly. Im not even asking for bi-monthy. 4 times a year would be nice. Hell 3 a year would be nice.... but 1 whenever he gets around to it? To me that is bullshit...

Well Larsen does have a colorist. Jason Howard pencils, inks, and colors Super Dinosaur but he doesn't write it. But still, you would think he could get out more issues then he does. That snail pace release schedule is what has kept me from checking out Orc Stain. Maybe once he's got 2 or 3 trades under his belt I'll feel comfortable in jumping in.

still dont see why you wont read a book because the guy has other shit to do, its a great book like you said, be stoked for an issue when it comes out, its gonna be issue 7, i love everything that man does, orc stain is his child and he does a shit ton of work all year long, that guy draws every day of his life and makes his income on drawing shit for posters and what not, stokes one of the best guys making comics, and to bring up erik larsen and the dragon, wasnt that book infamous for being late? who cares when it comes out a good book is a good book, its not like hes sitting on his ass all day long playing video games instead of drawing

The book was late when Erik was head of image. It´s been pretty much on time for years now
