What Shiv said.

Bottomline is that whole crime should have been solved in one season.

If Law and Order can do it in under an hour this show should have too.

Need to see if I can watch those online. Most of the streams are heavily nerfed now.

What is and is not acceptable in a kids show, specifically a Y7 rated TV show on daytime Nickelodeon? How violent is too violent? Are heavily implied deaths okay as long as there is no gore?

These are all questions I find myself asking, and now to you after watching the season finale of Legend of Korra. I don't care if you don't watch the show I'd just like to hear your opinions on these and one more question...

*****MAJOR KORRA SPOILERS*****

How would you feel about your 7 year old watching a murder-suicide on a cartoon?

That is a little crazy. I won't be surprised that some of those parent groups don't protest the show if they become aware of it. Yours and Marcc's devotion to Korra does make me want to see what you guys like about it.

And that was only two of the dozens of implied deaths that happened in the episode. Not to mention the bloodbending (manipulating the water in a person or animal's blood like a marionette causing them excruciating pain).

Don't get me wrong I loved it all, but I'm surprised it doesn't get a higher rating and parents let their young kids watch it.

You guys should check it out.

The fight scenes as much as anything else, save for maybe the nostalgic homages to the original series. While the main plot was as good as A:TLA, the subplots felt a little rushed/forced and we didn't get anywhere near the character development as the original toon. That said it's still better than a lot of the action toons.

Here's a taste of the animation, though the kid played with the speed at times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oygcJWmZbtg#t=2m00s

The pacing is utter shit and the shipping was excruciatingly cringe worthy. Other than that, it was a great season.

I loved the ending. Kinda pissed the Koh the Face Stealer theory was wrong, because it would have been awesome.

Also the murder-suicide was probably one of the best single moments of both series so far. Right up there with the lionturtle/energybending and the episode "Tales from Ba Sing Se". I must say that "Tales from Ba Sing Se" the best episode of animation I have ever watched.
