That's right. Max Landis is writing and directing a remake of "An American Werewolf in London", his father John's seminal 1981 horror-comedy, with Kirkman and Skybound producing.

As much as horror remakes usually suck, I want to give this one the benefit of the doubt, due to the people involved.

That movie scared the piss out of me when I was about 10 years old. Couldn't watch another horror movie until I was like 16. Will be interested to see what they do with this.

I'll the guy a chance. I love American Werewolf in London and I HATE reboots/remakes, but I've been seeing/reading Max Landis stuff and I gotta say he's a pretty great writer.

American werewolf is one of my favorite movies, it's something I can put on any day and enjoy it, I'm sure this one will be good. Max will deff have some input from his dad and we all love kirkman here so there should be no worries

I liked the original and if Kirkman is involved it only gets better IMHO.

The decaying ghosts were awesome, I hope they keep the concept.

The porn theatre was epic but how do you do that now, do they still exist?
