whatever... its the way the book is. Its not like there havent been blah points in the book. Especially when you read it monthly. If you must trade wait... trade wait. This book is always good when read in huge chunks at a time.
Wes... you just download it anyway... lol Dont DLed it and just get the trades.

I guarantee read in trade form the story doesnt seem so stale.
Even when nothing is happening in TWD... its still better than 98% of the books out there

98%? Let's not go crazy there. It's better than at least 99.5%. :D

I wouldn't go that far. And it is pretty lame right now. But it has been lame for an issue or two before, and it got awesome again.
It's not a miniseries. It's not an arc or an run, it's a damn never ending epic. Anyone show me one title that is pushing 100 issues and that never had a weak issue. I love Savage Dragon two death, but even that title had some not so good issues in it's 176 issue run.

What for me makes those not so good issues (because they are rarely really bad) acceptable is the fact that it will always set up something really great down the line, and not mark a point from where the book goes downhill.

Witchblade #150 (The end of a GREAT era)

I stopped reading Witchblade after #102-- and finally got it removed from my pull list after the War of the Witchblade arc-- and i haven't read any of them yet.

Honestly, Marz killed the story for me [i didn't like the aspect of Dani coming along taking the Witchblade as nothing more than a plot device.], then when the whole "who's the daddy?" was spoiled, it drove me further from the story. then, Marz stole the Angelus from the Darkness series and screwed up that character.
[Hey, Marz- The Angelus is the mortal enemy to the Darkness. The entity has been around centuries, them you come along- suck the Angelus into two hosts who want to play hero... WTF happened to trying to destroy the Darkness?!]

I fear the end of Hester's run of the The Darkness, fearing that Marz will get his grubby hands and royally screw over Jackie Estacado.

Only things on my pull list this week are, currently:
Walking Dead #92
Atomic Robo: Ghosts of Station X #4 (odds are, my lcs won't get it- as it hasn't gotten the last two!
Warlord of Mars #13 [need to read the others ones, to see if they've started the Gods of Mars story yet- or still doing filler.]

Greatness that is David Hine is writing Darkness after Hester leaves.

Quick question about The Darkness.

Is he good or bad? both?

When is Image bringing back the Lara Croft comic book?

I don't think Image will bring back the Tomb Raider series... after all, they killed off Lara in a confuddled Witchblade arc...

anywho- in regards to the Darkness; Jackie is definitely an antihero.
in the first series, he was still a mob hitman, but he does some good deeds...
**[the second series was a complete mess, so it's optimally passable.]**
The third series (current), he started off as the "president" of some middle american country-- trying to develope a Darkness narcotic to "quell the populace" shit happens, and he's "recruited" by a someone who wants him to kill people who haven't paid their debts, in return for Jackie's soul. Then jackie turns the tide and hunts the guy down; i've been slacking off on reading the more recent books but to sum up:
Jackie's an antihero; raised as a mob hitman, he does things the ways he knows and wishes people would stay true loyally, because often the people he trusts try to kill him. Trouble often follows him, as the Darkness wants to be free of his own conscience...
