Okay. Apparently Graphicly does actually allow your to DL and store file versions of the comics you buy.
Here's how it works. First you have to download the Adobe AIR Graphicly program for Windows and Mac.
Found on this page of the Graphicly site. Make sure you're signed up with Graphicly first.
Once you've installed and updated that program, you can browse and view Graphicly comics through this program instead of the browser. When you go to 'My Collection' there is a button under your comics that says 'Download'. This installs the file to your computer, so that you can have a back up, and view the comic while offline.
It does appear that the comics are stored as a proprietary format (with a .TC extension). They are stored in the
Graphic.ly folder in your
Documents folder (in Windows).
The comics are not available in other formats, like PDF or CBR. BUT, you will 'own' your comics with Graphicly. Which is certainly novel.
HOWEVER. Apparently, the FREE version of Savage Dragon 175 is
only free in the Graphic.ly browser viewer on their website. Its not Free through the actual store front, and you can't add it to 'Your Comics' unless you pay 2.99 for it.
