If you game you really MUST play "Super Brothers: Swords and Sworcery". I think it's IPAD and IPOD exclusive and it's a truly unique game.

You got the one with the retina display??

P.S. If you aren't a webcomic reader, the Ipad is the BOMB for reading webcomics!! Just throwing that out there!

Yeah, the one with the retina display

I haven´t been much of a gamer in the last years but I can see myself trying a couple of games on the iPad.
The display is awesome. I´ve downloaded a couple of free comics from comixology (the graphicly app for iPad strangely isn't available in germany at the moment) and I bought Comic Zeal as a reader for PDF and CBR files.

How many comics can you fit on a Ipad if thats all you put on? just curious.....

Maybe a better question is on a 16 gig how many, on a 64 gig? etc....

An average Comixology book is said to be around 15 megabytes in size, so expect about 1000 comics per additional 16 gigs. Pirated books can often be a bit bigger than that (over 25 megabytes is not unusual), because there is less concern about download speed and storage space.

Also remember you can just download any comics you've purchased at any time, as many times as you want, you don't have to keep them stored on your iPad at all times.

Not necessarily true, especially now that ComiXology's moved to their new CMX-HD format (optimized for the new iPad), which has file sizes almost 3 times that of the old ones.

It seems graphicly has officially retired their iPhone, iPad and Android apps.

If I get it right you can only read your purchases online from now on.

I'm expecting Graphic.ly to release a new app in the near future that will cover their new 'not just comics' digital publishing initiative, that will also do comics. It only makes sense.

As it is, if you still have the desktop program, or the iDevice app installed, they still work. You just can't download the program or the app any more if you don't have it.
