Hey, that's right, he already *did* kill the original Atlantean. So this king is a new guy. I didn't realize... And the Namor trunks are actually Mako's original costume from Erik's fanzine/Megaton days, right?



That must be it. His design had changed drastically from one appearance to the next, and it stirred some controversy (noticeably so at the CBR forum).

Will the savage wiki list all of Josh Eichorn's credit lines one day? Because I think this month's offering was probably the harshest. You can't top that.

I'm just really happy we got an entire page dedicated to Mako and his plight this issue. Sadly no Powerhouse. If we got Mako and Powerhouse appearing every other issue I would be a really happy man.

Mako is one cool cat. Maybe he can reign in Dart II? Or would she hate his guts even though she wanted her aunt dead? Who knows, she nuts anyways.

This is the big one. How in the hell are they going to killl these damn aliens and who may end up dying.

One thing I hope to see is Chaos and Control. Giants crazy looking aliens VS giant crazy looking monster with a man attached to him. You can't beat that.

Man I hope Malcolm keeps it in his pants...Will Angel resort to sex every time things fall apart? Seems a bit out of character.
However, considering how screwed up her and Malcolm's childhood's have been, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Just look at how "Dark Angel" has coped with things. Still, I hope Malcolm shows the maturity re: Mr. Apple's speech several issues back.
Not that I would be against the characters hooking up at some point, but this would be just taking advantage of Angel, IMHO.

Besides, Daddy Dragon's got the womanizing covered. I'd like to see Malcolm take a different path.

With that out of the way, this was a helluva issue, bursting at the seams with action and many of my fave characters. We asked for Mako and we got him! I too, love the namor trunks. Loved seeing Dragon kick @$$ and take names. So many nice touches in this issue, I could go on all day. Another rich and rewarding issue for the old timers and accessible for newcomers. Can't ask for much more. Might be time to fire off a letter!

Overall I dug the scope of it. Nice to see a little moments around the world. Especially like the Godtown part. It's been a while since we've seen them. Ditto Mako and the Atlanteans (how about an underwater adventure for Malcolm and Angel).

I'm also wondering how Dragon is going to fuck things up again. I could almost see him using Kurrs plague to kill the tyraneans on Kalayptus. Or something along those lines. I don't suspect he'll stay on that ship much longer.

I'm thinking Overlord saves the day on Earth. Wait and see in a month or so!

I think my favorite seen was Ann Stevens telling her baby to click her wrists together.

I also dug how Angel's costume is becoming similar to her Dimension X counterpart.

And I really hope Angel and Malcolm don't do it.

Finally read my issue of Savage Dragon... This issue was amazing! So much action and excitement. I cant even say anything that hasnt already been said... but wow.

My one qualm is I wish the Tyranneans had a little more personality. They are pretty much rampaging monsters.
