Just got this in the mail today. It's the all Alan Moore book, it ends at Erik's first book 63. It's also got all of the different variants and random con exclusives included. I'm working on completing the first 40 issues and some random appearances here and there for the first 2 volumes. I also plan on having all of Erik's run bound as the following volume. That volume will also start at issue 63. It was a good jumping off point for the Moore book, and a perfect jumping on point also.

Have you considered Supreme's appearances in Vanguard? If so, how would you deal with Vanguard #0, which was part of Savage Dragon #2?

Put the Vanguard #0 flipbook half of SD #2 in front of Vanguard #1?

And here are a few other pre-Moore Supreme appearances I'd reccomend including, besides Vanguard #0-1:

The Supreme back-up from Youngblood vol. 1 #3 (Supreme's very first appearance)

Supreme #0 and the Supreme Annual

Supreme: Glory Days #1-2

Legend of Supreme #1-3

Trencher #2-3

Shadowhawk Vol. 1 #16 and 18

Badrock and Company #6

Gladiator/Supreme

Bloodwulf Summer Special

Bloodstrike #5

Glory #1 and 5

The issues of Brigade where Supreme was a member

The Extreme crossovers, like Babewatch, Supreme Apocalypse,

Maybe the Lady Supreme and Kid Supreme minis and short stories from Asylum.

My volume is likely to be a tad thinner than Alan's.

Are you on board for a specific number of issues, or just until you get bored/overworked, Erik?

I think they would like me to stay on the book indefinitely but I have a lot of other projects I'd like to do. Supreme is work-for-hire so I don't have a huge creative stake in it. I'm on board to essentially set things up. It's not a title I'll be doing for the long haul. I have so many things I want to do and I can't do all of them if I'm working on somebody else's book.

it would be nice to see that Mystery project from a while back (the van and mansion image).

Not to mention more Next Issue Project goodness.

Agreed. There are a lot of things I'd like to do. I can't do everything.

I rather hope Erik's supreme runs 12 issues. That seems like a perfect length to tell your story and make your mark before burn out/apathy sets in. Also the perfect length for two trades and/or single deluxe HC.

Don't get me wrong I definitely would like to see more if it's in the cards. I'd just like to see 12 issues of Erik Larsen Supreme minimum before passing the torch.
