I think last time we saw Radar that he was heading off to train his offspring so I guess he came back. oh well.
*That*'s why that scene gave me pause. He was already out of the picture and I felt there was no need to kill him. But I guess it's a reference to Moore himself killing Krypto in Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow.
Anyway, if need be... The next guy to handle Supreme has about a million of his offspring to use as a Radar substitute.
But that's a good example of the feeling I had on a whole when I read the issue. This is Erik's way of streamlining things : kill a lot of characters (instead of, say, revising them or resetting things). And as Savage Dragon readers we're used to it, but this is bound to ruffle a few feathers for readers who are not accustomed to that kind of method.
Now what's I'm pretty excited about is that, in short, Ethan Crane and Supreme are now two different people. Superman and Clark Kent have probably been separated in a few imaginary stories or the like, but *never in the long term* and that could be a source of very-seen-before situations.
