This week I am going with Saga#1, Crossed Badlands #1, and some avengers comic that has my local store's logo printed on the front cover which looks awesome. I am also going to get another TPB of the boys to continue catching up.

I only just now got my stack! So here's what I got:
Luthor Strode #6
Kick Ass 2 #7
Prophet #23

Just read Luthor Strode and Kick ass so far... Spoiler free impressions.

Luthor Strode: Love love loved the art. Otherwise it fell kinda flat. Glolrious Ultra violence and an awesome fight to be sure. But the story simply left far too much unknown. I REALLY wanted some damn answers. ha ha. Oh well. I guess Legend Of Luthor Strode will be ongoing? I just hope there's more meat on the next one's bones. Mystery is fine, but 6 issues later and story wise I'm little better off than I was at issue 1.

Kick Ass: Again, not enough real pay off. Set up for the next series (hit girl) more than it worried about giving a satisfying conclusion. I felt this was a problem with Nemesis too. Feeling kinda burned by Mark Miller books as that's a trend pretty much all of his stuff has done lately. Thinking I'll take a break from him for a bit.

Justin Jordan gives a few answers on Luther's powers in a blog. You can find the link a page or 2 back in the Luther Strode thread in the main Image section.

The Hit Girl mini will be set in the time frame between Kick Ass and Kick Ass 2 so I'm not sure that this was really setting up that story. But there is supposed to be a 3rd Kick Ass series to finish things off. I would imagine we won't see it for awhile though.

@capuga Good deal on the tip on Luthor strode. I'll check that out for sure!! I must say that I was still highly entertained. I mean it really doesn't get much better for art or action. So I'm on board for Legend Of Luthor Strode for sure.

The hit girl mini is a prequel ? Weird... I can't really imagine too much interesting woulda happened between those two series, but I guess I'll save judgement. I'm still gonna hold off on issues. I hate to trade wait, but his writing's not been enjoyable on a monthly basis anymore. For my griping about there not being enough closure I do like what Kick Ass 2 did. It pushed Red Mist to a new level of scum and moved everyone on a bit. Evolved his street level super heroes idea. It'll make a good movie. ha ha.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #8 Preview (My final issue of the new IDW TMNT On-Going. I gave it a chance, but it is just not doing it for me. After this I just have a copy of TMNT Micro-Series: Leonardo, then I'm done with TMNT for the time being. At least until Ultimate Collection Vol.2)
THE NEW DEADWARDIANS #1 (OF 8) Preview (New Dan Abnett series. Dan Abnett is one of my favorite comic writers. Though it is kind of funny to see him writing a US comic without Andy Lanning in tow)

2000 AD #1770 - Hoping to see 1770 and 1771 out this week.
CASANOVA: AVARITIA #3 (OF 4) - About time this turned up. Its running very late.
FAIREST #2 - Preview Issue 1 was actually really good. Even if this seems like a ploy to double ship Fables every month. I'll take it!
FATALE #4 - Preview My final issue. Just not doing it for me. Fortunately I'm up to my eyeballs in other new comics this year. So no great loss.
FLEX MENTALLO: MAN OF MUSCLE MYSTERY - THE DELUXE EDITION HC - I'm probably not actually picking this up any time soon. I'm just sort of interested in it.
HELL YEAH #2 - Issue 1 didn't really grab me the way I'd hoped. Since my interview with Joe Keatinge though I'm actually kinda pumped for issue 2. Reading this digital-only.
INVINCIBLE #90 - Preview Kinda wondering if 'Bulletproof as Invincible' is going to have any real impact here.
JEREMIAH OMNIBUS HC VOL 01 - Shiny HC.
MUDMAN #3 - Yay Paul Grist. Yay Mudman.
SAVAGE DRAGON #179 - Preview Things are heating up over here. Gonna be a brutal issue, I can feel it.
SUPREME #63 - Preview First issue of the Supreme Relaunch. The final Alan Moore Supreme script will finally see the light up day. I have no prior experience with the Alan Moore Supreme, so I'm curious how Erik is going to handle new readers like me. We'll see.
