So, it´s gold, not silver right?

Perhaps it's gold-- I don't recall and I don't have all my comics at my new place yet so I can't check.

To sum this up:
When you bought wizard #69 you could order Savage Dragon #1/2 with a coupon or something like that and you got the regular edition with a certificate. Did this come polybagged or in a special hold/folder?

Yes and polybagged.

If you bought wizard #69 and subscribed you would get the "Special Wizard Edition" where the little Wizard logo is printed with gold foil (is the logo embossed?) And this came in a sealed bag without any certificate?

Not sure what the deal was there, because I was a subscriber and I didn't receive the Special Edition. I didn't know about it. When I found a copy later on in a back issue bin somewhere, it was the first I'd heard of it (and yeah, the only thing different is that stupid embossed Wizard logo thingy). The special edition I found was polybagged but didn't come with a COA. Not sure if they all came that way or if some came in folders or whatever.

That and that "Special Wizard Edition" mark on the cover.

I´ve never seen a bagged version. If anyone has a pic of that let me know/post it here.

That's the stupid embossed Wizard logo thingy I was referring to.

They weren't polybagged in a traditional polybag - they came in one of those Wizard Pro-Gard sleeves (basically a semi-rigid plastic comic bag with a closure tab that tucked into a band on the back).

yup. That's what I have. Definitely not polybagged.

You guys are totally right. I remember that thing now.

Of course, it probably doesn't help that I tend to use the word "polybag" as a blanket term to mean "some kind of sealed plastic doohickey the comic goes in". :)

I'm in my comic room and the 1/2 issue is silver embossed. Mine did not come with certificate either. If there is a gold. I'd like to see a copy

Since that's my memory of my copy as well-- I'm wondering if the description on the SD website isn't just mistaken. I'm pretty sure there aren't three versions.

Makes sense.

I was just fooled by the picture of the Wizard Special Edition as that shows the wizard logo in yellow/gold.
