Gotta say--this is the first Bruce Banner who gives me absolutely no Bruce Banner vibe. He simply doesn't look like Bruce Banner in any way.

I agree but also feel that way about Bill Bixby. I thought he did a good job but nothing about him seemed similar to the comics.

I think Norton is the closest thus far.

I'm very pleased with what I see. Very pleased. I love that they saved the Hulk for the last image of the trailer and I'm tickled that we're getting a version of the Hulk on the big screen again. Maybe third time's a charm and this version will spin off. I was initially disappointed that Edward Norton wasn't returning as Banner, but this guy Ruffalo seems to work (for me, at least). The glimpse we saw of his Hulk already informs me that this will probably be the best looking screen version yet. If I were a kid, I'd be pissing in my pants anticipating this one. The closest thing I can remember to this from back when I was a kid was when I saw the movie "Destroy All Monsters" where every one of Toho Studios' monsters showed up in one movie.

Really? It looked like the Edward Norton Hulk to me. Not that that is a bad thing, I loved that flick.

They had a short with Agent Coulson and another guy talking about how they wanted to put Abomination on the avengers because Banner was a liability and Emil Blonsky was a war hero. But they put the cabosh on that in the short.

Anyway that at least indicates that the Ed Norton hulk continuity will be in play.

That's the impression I got. It was a nice close-up. As for it looking like the Rhythm & Hues model from TIH (2008), I suppose it kinda does. One of the things they are doing with this version is that they are going back to an idea from the Ang Lee film where the Hulk looks like the actor playing Banner. There's also supposed to be a Kirby Hulk influence as well, but I didn't see enough of the Hulk in the trailer to conclude whether or not that's present.

Wish I could see that. It'd also be interesting if William Hurt made an appearance as General Ross for this... especially since it looked like Stark was recruiting him at the end of TIH.
