Hello everyone.
My name is Matt and since 1992, at the young age of 12, I have been a die hard fan of the Savage Dragon and the works of Erik Larsen. I first began to appreciate Erik's work when I read Amazing Spider-Man issues 346 and 347, and became an instant fan when Erik did his "Revenge of the Sinister Six" run on "Spider-Man".
To me, the Savage Dragon is just a fun and cool series that is made for readers who don't want watered down action and violence. It's always been my pleasure to kick back with an issue of SD and read Erik's well written stories, soak in his gorgeous art, and, I might add, read the very well written letters sent in by fans.
I apologize if this is not the appropriate place to put these pictures, but I just wanted to share with everyone here my SD collection. I have been collecting dual issues of the ongoing series, and I am working hard right now to try to collect EVERY known appearance of Dragon in a comic book. So far, my search is going well, but not as smooth as I wish it would. On top of issues of SD, I have all related works by Erik, other writers, and Highbrow such as Freak Force, Superpatriot, Star, Dart, Vanguard, Megaton, and Desperate Times. I also have issues like Altered Image, Splitting Image, Stupid, and the like. Other issues such as Shadowhawk, Youngblood, and such that feature our green skinned hero are also in my collection.
Did I also mention I have the toys, statues, posters, skateboard deck, and, yes, even the cartoon show on DVD? Well, I guess I should just post some pic before I ramble on like the blubbering fanboy that I am. Ha ha.
On a serious note, I would like to say to Erik Larsen, sincerely, Thank you for what you do and how you do it. Savage Dragon, as well as your other works, are a fine medium that I hope to continue to enjoy for years to come. You're one of the greats, Erik!
My entire set (in multiple boxes, of course) that contain all SD issues in twos, and other Larsen comcis:

CGC 9.6, signed by Erik. I paid a pretty penny for this on eBay. Totally worth it:

A rare misprint of TSD #3 (mini series) that is CGC graded:

The SD cartoon on DVD:

This painting was done by an inmate in the craft shop of the prison I worked at when I was a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. It is very special to me because it's absolutely priceless.
