Except there aren't any Swedish place names that end in "stead". That's an English suffix.

Just nitpicking.

Karl, in the English language it is supposed to be called Halmstad. But some English people call it Halmstead. Google "Halmstead" and you will see.

What's up with apparent change in Glory's coloring?

The first image her is from an early iFanboy Preview (and I believe was printed in the Extreme Preview comic). The second is from theCBR Preview on the site right now

The bright popping colors of the first image were way more eye catching then what appears to be the current coloring style. What's up with that?

I think the old page looks kind of garish to be honest. The new colors set the tone better.

Weird. The 2nd ones aren't bad. But I prefer the first. They looked more interesting to me.

I prefer the new one. The original did "pop", indeed, but it also tried too hard to include every color in the rainbow... whereas in the second one, they're employing, y'know, an actual palette. It's more subdued, foreground & background aren't competing as much, and my attention is now focused where it's supposed to be in each panel.

Since even the shadows are different, they probably didn't just retool the page-- I'm guessing they got a new colorist.

I like the first too. I read it at lunch today and it's definitely worth checking out!

The first one is just an eyesore. I don't think I could make it through 22 pages of neon.

The second one if colored so that each panel has a clear focus and draws your eye to what's important in the story. Just because something "pops" doesn't mean it's neccessarily better -- I could wear a bright pink business suit and it would certainly be eye-catching and I would stand out for sure... but I think a plain grey or black suit would do the job more effectively.

The Youngblood preview looks pretty good. I think I give that a shot.
