Holy hell, what an issue. I'll post some more comments later, but I loved the issue.

Doesn't seem like the interview is up yet (?), but I did find a review

https://thechicocomicspage.wordpress.co ... ragon-224/

Really loved this issue, and can't wait for 225. Apparently the lead is going to be 40 pages! Holy shit.

Interview is up, and this helps clear a few things up

http://comicbook.com/comics/2017/05/24/ ... ragon-224/

So this issue was plain nuts!

First, what I didn't like. No DarkLord. Been waiting for his return for awhile, and assumed he would be in the issue based on the cover, but he's not. Still, he'll be in 225 and hopefully he's got a pretty big part.

What I liked? Pretty much everything. Art, story, pretty much the entire works. It all flowed perfectly, despite the issue being chaotic to the brim. So much happened and the pace didn't let up.

Thankfully, the interview cleared things up. The world isn't transforming, just the memories. So there shouldn't be any resurrections and everything pre 75 matters.

My question is what is happening to the other worlds? Are they simply becoming non existent? Either way, this should clean things up a bit.

I'm pretty happy that everyone will remember things that has happened and the relationships can build off of that.

This is killing me... I've been out of town for a couple weeks, and will still be gone for a few more days. I got a small stack of comics waiting for me to pick up when I get back. Knowing the issue is out but that I don't have in front of me yet is torturous.

Just being dramatic. I'll survive clearly, but I really am anxious to check it out.

I like the way the book is going. Its a good decision that the first 75 issues are having a meaning by the end of the storyline.

Finally made it to my local comic shop and picked up #224. Really great issue, much stronger than last, in my humble. Also a very interesting issue in that most issues of Savage Dragon seem to cover some time (logical given that the book happens in real time). This issue by contrast seems to cover only a few minutes. Nevertheless it felt bigger, given how it kept cutting back to Glum messing with Darklord's tech and merging the alternate realities.

Also what a cliffhanger, Angel's heart-shaped word balloon at the end was a great way to convey her thoughts about Glum in a concise way. Very neat.

And the double page spread with Glum pushing the button and all the shards of alternate realities radiating out from his finger tip was one of the most innovative visual devices I've seen in a while. Pretty darn cool. Also noticed that one of the shards showed Superpatriot with the Covenant of the Sword's logo on his chest. Wasn't there a toy like that a while back?

All in all, great issue. Can't wait for #225!
