Here's a question: Who the hell tied up Reed on that cover anyway? Did the monster come out of the ground and spit ropes at him?

the point? this is a common comics-cover theme, sort of a nod to "the greatest comic magazine".

Oh, absolutely...and to the greatest comic book artist that ever lived.

I don't think any other artist has inspired more homages than Jack Kirby...and there's a reason for that!

i like the old-school artists- guys like jack kirby and others!

personally i love jack davis, but i suspect most of the posters on this board have no idea who he is. :roll:
