I think I just "got" issue 27. It wasn't just a little gimmick or bonus for those who are reading monthly. It was kind of putting us in Toni's head and giving us a taste of her ability. Yes/no?

Yes, 27 out of order is a treat for the monthly guys but the treat appears to be that you get a clearer picture of what is going on. Chew really is a cerebral book that you need to pay attention to every detail because nothing happens by chance

Yeah, I tend to read the entire arc every month a new issue comes out, just so I know for sure what's going on. I used to read from number one every time, but it is a little more difficult as the numbers pile up.

I usually roll the dice and pick up my comics on the day of release without a pull list, but I went ahead and ordered the glow-in-the-dark 19 at my LCS. I got a Poyo 12 just by showing up, but it seemed more an accident than anything. The guy already knew what was up. I just mentioned the issue number and he said, "Oh, yeah, the glow-in-the-dark one? I'm ordering one for another guy and can add yours to it."

Any idea why darkhuman didn't make the jump to the new forums? I miss that guy and his Wall of Chew, but mainly his enthusiasm for the book. I don't have quite his collection, but I'll try to do a Wall of Chew to bring that feature back to the forum.

Does anyone have those panels that compare the Tony Chu introduction to Gwen's introduction in iZombie?
