I back to backed issues 1 to 3 this morning, the first time I'd read the story in one hit.

The truce between the Heroes and the villains is such an original idea, I just wonder how many true villains like Abraxis are out there? how many are waiting for the Congress of Villains to have one slightly dissenting voice? and do the Heroes have a similar congress? do they have anything in place to keep the "neutral villains" in check? or would that then break the bond of trust? and how long can the Skull brothers last, living the charade that is Gladstones?

Question, Questions, Questions...... hmmmmmmm.
Hhmmmmmmmm.Good questions. ;)

I did like the continuing bit of story that was on the back of the book and thought it was neat that it was done that way( also cool that Marineman did this also )

Am I also the only one who thinks this would be great as a animated movie? I have Christopher Mintz-Plasse in my head when ever Kid Nefarious talks and Regina King with Mummy Girl

Looks like issue 4 is out this coming Wednesday (17th). That radioactive green cover is certainly going to stand out on the racks.

I must admit that I dropped this book from my sub after reading the first issue. Although I loved the look of the book including the character designs, coloring and the art itself, I got a bit lost trying to remember all of the different character names. Sometimes that pulls me out of books with large casts and that is what happened for me on this book.

However, I had already bought 1 and 2 so I gave them another read last night. This time, I didn't worry as much about the character names and just enjoyed the story. Loved it and I'm starting to remember the character names through osmosis I guess. It's going back on my pull list. Good stuff. It will probably be an even better read in trade.

I've had a similar thing with other books before.

There are only about six character names you need to remember: Kid Nefarious, Mummy Girl, Martian Jones, Ghost Girl, and the Skull Brothers.

It's not one of those books that's like, "I'm going to see how many heroes I can cram into it. I own 200 heroes".
