The next issue will be a new number one. We're working on it right now, and the first issue is nearly done. I think when we have three issues in hand we can solicit the first one. It's looking like August right now.

August!!! You are Kill Me Here!!!

I want August to be here soon too, and to get on a faster schedule. I wish Gladstone's was bi-monthly.

Though its a long wait. I can't help but think the recent Walking Dead trade numbers + Ed Brubaker + BKV + Mark Millar et al will only help shine a light on all Image comics Solicits. When August's books are solicited in May all Image books will look extra appealing to Retailers and consumers alike.

I'm really pleased to see more high profile creators coming into the Image fold and tipping the scales a little more in our favor.

You make an excellent point Paul.

With the wait in between volumes it's better to renumber and to get new readers for the second series. I wish we had big resources to just crank them out, but we're doing these on no budget, with everyone working on them around dayjobs and life.

I didn't realise there was a whole board for this.

Anyway, fantastic series. Love it. Love the style, and it feels a lot like a cartoon, and I love how, like in Digimon and other stuff they yell the name of the attack they're doing.

August is a long wait, but it'll be worth it.

There is a cover for issue 7 around, was that issue scrapped, or is that issue now issue 1 of the second volume?

Thank you! Issue 7 is now the new number one. We're going to do a new number one and sub header for each volume, but also have a seven on there somewhere to make it easy to organize them.
