Maurice Sendak.

Where the Wild Things Are was the first book I remember reading, loving, and taking with me everywhere.

I was in preschool.

I know she's not a person, but she was important to me.

Today I have to take my best friend of 13 and a half years, Isabeau, to be put down. She has lived a good life, been faithful, and always happy to see me everytime I came home. I'm going to miss her.

Goodbye to the best dog I've ever had.
