I usualy check out ever book with Jay involved, but I really am burned out on superheroes, so I descidet to skip this one.
Lo and behold, as my package of new boks arrived, i tlooked like I changed my mind and didn't even remeber that. Weird. Whatever. I am glad I did, because I haven't had as much fun with a first issue like this in a long time. Sure, there are tons of new and great series, but this, this was FUN.

Okay, with #5 out, i'm curious about the circumstances in which Luminary got her powers... was Meredith terminally ill, and she didn't know it, and that alien life form "cured" her; or was the alien life form out to exterminate the terminal virus that is humanity?

looking forward to seeing Recluse again...

also, in the last issue Outrun, Speedtrap, whatever his name is... "I had 10 minutes with nothing to do. Best. Moment. of the Week." made me chuckle.

Here's a question- Is Secret Identities a mini-series, or a pre-determined ongoing?

Someone mentioned that it ends with #7, and i don't see a reason for Jay or Brian to end the series so abruptly- not with the various ways Crosswind can destroy the team; and we know so little about Punchline and Recluse...

It was designed as an ongoing, but it's got low sales so we have to end it with #7. If it were up to us, we'd keep it going.

Well, that's a bummer. have you considered going digital with the series, like Anti-hero?

No, that's not a viable option.

Jay, question- is there a possibility for a 0-issue, where we learn how the team assembled or at least a reason as to the duplicity?
give the faithful a measure of closure

Issue 7, the series finale, answers a lot of those questions. It's an extra-sized issue that gives the book a proper wrap-up -- or at least, as proper a wrap-up we could, given the reality of the situation.

Farewell, Secret Identities. Twas a good run that could have been an intriguing series with the possibilities.

my questions is- is that how you and brian planned for most of the other characters to pan out? Great fight scene between Crosswind and recluse.
