I've never read any of Casey's work, but I recently put this on my pull list. Concept seems awesome, the powers looks pretty sick. Really interested to see what in detail, the protagonist's powers are. and the artwork by Messina looks incredible. And I LOVE that suit! What a great design.

I saw some beautiful alternate cover art by Sara Pichelli for issue two of this series. It shows the books namesake smoking what appears to be a marijuana cigarette. Now I don't personally care about people smoking weed or whatever else they want to do. But it seems to me that this book is being marketed as "Spider-Man with sex and drugs".

I'm not familiar with the writer or the artist but I'm just wondering if this is the type of material people have been clamoring for? How does a concept this thin become an ongoing Image series?

Hey guys, I've got a book about an orphaned child from a dying planet who arrives on earth and grows up to become... a hedge fund manager who smokes rock cocaine. Ooooh, originality and realism. *lol*

This series has been awesome. Can't wait for all the players to come together. It's one hell of a build up, but I think it'll pay off in the end.
