Wow, there sure is a lot of dumbness flying around right now.. What are you guys, twelve or something?

In every other superhero comic the hero and the heroine hook up because they're typically the two hottest people in the cast—it's like a superhero law of plot physics or something. Mark and Eve's relationship is a real relationship with real consequences in their lives, not some James Bond-style hookup. The fact that they are sticking together through thick and thin (if you'll pardon the expression) means that there is so much more dramatic potential in their story. Maybe you guys don't understand that Eve being plus-sized and Mark sticking with her adds another layer of investment to the character. It's a clear sign that because he still cares and therefore WE still care. Kirkman's already killed Eve once, and he'll probably do it again... But it wouldn't matter to Mark (and by extension, to the readers) if Eve were just another hot babe he had hooked up with. There's a lot of tension already... A) Eve could very well be tempted to turn to someone else during Mark's coma just for sheer consolation... B) MArk's attractiveness to women is typically played down in the book but there have been hints (Universa's last look, etc.) and C) let's not forget that these two are in love and everything... but they're also, what, 19? They're young, superpowered horn-dogs! Anything could happen!

I haven't frequented this board much until the last few months. What happens every month? People debate about Eve being fat and possibly cheating on Mark?

I'm impressed with you guys who can resist the previews. I'm a hopeless addict, so I'll take any scraps I can and gladly reread those pages when the issue comes out. Oliver sucks!

Not so much about Eve cheating... but yes, the weight debate.

OOooh. can't wait! the colors on this issue look fantastic.

The only thing i'm getting tired of is the debate about fat eve. that horse has been brought back with zombie juice and beat down again.

BulletProof is gonna get a spin-off series called Chubby-chasers.
