good, and you suck for this not being a monthly haha
Dude, if this was a monthly book, I'd actually be able to pay my rent every month off comics money. I wish we could go ongoing, too.

While they were definitely used to great effect, I hope the "super powered" elements of Witch Doctor only get about as far as they did in issue 4. This book doesn't need any traditional comic book schtick to be fooking awesome.
Well, it
is a book about a sorcerer, so we
are going to continue to see Morrow using magic. The different between WD and other books will continue to be the way Morrow does his magic — mostly either in the form of weird mystical machines, or in medicine-analogs (pills, shots, etc) rather than by making hand gestures and alliterating at people or whatever.
(Another thing I hope people have noticed in WD is that magic has consequences and side-effects, like medicine does. The "sleeping pills" Morrow used in #2 cause insomnia, and the electricity pills in #4 have an amphetamine-style "crash" afterwards. It's the same as how taking too much ibuprofin is bad for your kidneys, or how chemotherapy can potentially kill you.)
