Such a good story, and one that is very original. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait for the conclusion.

The Isadora Duncan-esque death was awesome.

Just read through Grim Leaper #2 - it definitely wasn't what I expected based off the issue summary posted. I thought the body Ella was occupying was actually some third leaper that was going to cause problems for Lou and Ella. Apparently not, Ella's just developed some serious thrill-seeking tendencies.

I also gotta say that the page after what we saw in the preview had me give out a bit of an "oh shit!" as I was reading. Messed up! I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.

Haha, wow, I wasn't expecting anyone to catch that homage! Obviously it was a bit more over the top.

Weird coincidence: The week I sent Aluisio the script for Grim Leaper #1, someone was killed in his town by a tire come loose off a truck and it took their head off. For real.

Thanks for reading, Euge! I gotta say, there's a sequence in #3 that is probably my favourite in the series. It's, of course, one of the death scenes but Aluisio knocks it out of the park.

And just wait for the twist at the very end ;)

I'm a Lemony Snicket nerd. He's taught me about many things :P

Kurtis Wiebe: writer of Grim Leaper, predictor of death! I can't wait for the next two issues. Trying to guess the deaths has been rather fun

Thanks, guys.

I really do have a soft spot for these characters. Definitely a little bit of my world view on the dating game in Lou, probably a little bit exaggerated. Or not. ;)
