Is NYCC the only con you're doing Kurtis? And if so, do you think some of those Con exclusive could be made available to your faithful board members?

I'd definitely consider selling any material I put together over email, if there was interest. I'm trying as many things as I can to promote myself and connect with fans, as it's something I really enjoy. Cons are a lot of fun, I love talking to people, for real.

Cool! Do you have any links to information on your novel yet? I'm very interested in learning more about it because I enjoy well-written books and I always thought your Green Wake scripts read a lot like literature. I'd also like to hear about some of your favorite books are too - it seems like you're influenced by pretty great ones.
I just sent in my first draft of edits this morning. There hasn't been any official announcement from the publisher, I'm not sure if they're waiting for the cover to be finished, and they're wanting me to come up with a new title as well, that might be the hold up. There should be news soon, though.
Truthfully, I haven't read a novel in awhile. I've been flat out busy for a few years now and the only reading I get in is comics, at the moment. I'm pretty near shaving 40 hours a week off my current 80 hour schedule as some potentially lucrative side writing projects are on the horizon, maybe then I can get back to reading a lot more.
Film is a pretty huge influence on me, though. I recently watched this Norwegian film called The Bothersome Man, and it was so goddamn good. It parallels Green Wake a lot, but it's almost an absurdist, black comedy.
