Posted from Kurtis' blog recently.

Even though I'm not all that familiar with the character design yet, I'm really tempted to try my hand at a Debris fan art -- maybe I'll be able to scrounge up some time for that!

I changed the name of this thread to make it more flexible going forward. Check out this flippin' sweet promo art for Kurtis' various comic creations from Aluisio Cervelle Santos. (If you can't see it because of your IT dept, you can find it on Kurtis' official FB page: http://www.facebook.com/kurtisjwiebe )

I had some drawing time on my hands this weekend and decided to try a rendition of Maya, the lead character from Kurtis' upcoming miniseries, Debris. I haven't seen any really high res, large-scale images of her yet where you can see all the costume details, etc, so apologies if I got some of the look wrong:

Thanks! :D Those are my [not] trademarked, pencil inks. I just use pencil and adjust the brightness/contrast a bit in photoshop. If I tried a proper ink job on this, I know I'd ruin it. Also, I have to admit that the thick lines are Joe Madureira inspired.

Thanks, Ed! I hope Debris inspires a lot of fan art; I think it'll really work people's imaginations.

Hey, this is really sweet! I like the action feel, pushed in, a bit frantic! Nice work, Euge!

I'm glad you like it, Kurtis  Everything I've seen from Debris so far has me totally stoked. Wiebe and Rossmo collabs always exude the perfect match vibe, like pizza and beer or Chuck Norris and roundhouse kicks. 8-)

I spent a little time surfing for Green Wake art today. Here's what I found:

There are more really cool "unpublished" Green Wake pieces on Riley Rossmo's commissions page:

The one with the blood sucker kids is really effing cool
