Hahahaha, "Peter Pan and what?" Your wife must've thought you were crazy

That 2nd printing of #1 has such a sweet cover, I wouldn't have been pissed if I wound up with that one. I think it's released the same day as Peter Panzerfaust #2 though.

I wouldn't have minded, but I would have hated having to wait.

And if I hadn't put it on my pull list 3 months ago it wouldn't have bothered me. But I put it on my list as soon as it was solicited, and the LCS almost screwed me. That's what I was mad about.

Hadn't had a chance to go to the LCS in like 3 weeks! Not my fault.

My wife called while she was there picking up my books and read off the list to me. I said...one more Peter Panzerfaust is supposed to be there.

What?

Peter Panzerfaust.

Peter Pan and what?

No...Peter Panzerfaust.

Hold on..let me let you talk to the comic book guy.

Hello?

Hey...I was supposed to have Peter Panzerfaust in my pull box. It's been on my list for months now.

Peter what?

Peter Panzerfaust.

Who puts that out?

Image. It just started should be issue #1, and it was on my pull list, and it's sold out now.

Ummmm...let me look. Oh...hey I have on the shelf. Do you want it?

Yes. Thanks.

Hands the phone back to my wife. I thank her, then sit at work for 3 more hours until I can go home and read the stack of 15 books I had.

But I got the first print of issue #1. And I did a happy dance.

Haha, that was far too much work to get a copy of a comic. Thanks for the support though!

This one was easy. I've gone to every comic book within 50 miles of my house before trying to track down an issue. I love the hunt.

Yeah, the final cover is going to be different, that is a placeholder.

Onto other news, there's word circulating that Issue #2 has already sold out at distributor level. That's a good thing! :)

Awesome stuff, Kurtis. Issue 2 selling out a week before release despite overprints is a testament to the quality of the first issue, and the potential in your fantastic reimagining of Peter Pan.

Congrats, as well, on the announcement of this becoming an ongoing with issue 6 in September!

I hope you're ready to sign some books when you come to Halifax this spring.
