A bit pissed off when I read that Skull Kickers won't be back until the new year.
Its bad enough when you reach the end of an issue you are reading - even with it being the most consistent comic book this year!!

Anything clues to what to expect next year??
More characters added?

As much as I'd love to just keep rolling month after month it's incredibly tough for us to do so at our current monthly sales level. We need to take a break so Edwin can get ahead on art for the third arc while simultaneously taking on other freelance assignments to make sure bills get paid. I'd rather have the issues banked up and coming out on time than late mid-arc.

If sales grow with the new trade then I'm hoping we can put issues out each and every month.

Thanks for the response - I'm just being impatient!
Keep doing what you're doing, I hope it gets the success it deserves.

I'm sending my nephews in England copies of the 1st trade for xmas.

Skullkickers #12 will be arriving November 30th. Working with 4 different in-demand creative teams slowed the process down, but we're delivering the goods. :)

i'd have figured they were already working on the side stories when the "Five Buckets of Blood" story was in progress.

They were supposed to be... believe me. Freelancing can be tough to schedule and, unlike our regular creative team, I don't have any control on when things get done.

Are any of the team going to the Image Convention at all??

Got some comic discussion going on over at ayloo.net. These were my thoughts on issue 12 that I posted there:

Skull Kickers #12 (B+) There has not been an issue of this series that has not entertained me. It's just light hearted action fun full of non-stop jokes and over the top cartoon violence. Exactly what you would hope for from a comic book. This issue gives four short stories from (mostly) guest writers and artists as the regular creative team works to get caught up for the next regular storyline. Everyone does a pretty good job although the story with the rival bounty hunter is the standout for me.
