What happened to the guy that drew the original Hack/Slash comic???
I loved that issue and it had to do as much with the story and characters as with the Amazing art!
I've bought many other Hack/Slash comics (I'm not a completist) but nothing has lived up to the perfect synergy of the debut issue.

Any chance of him coming back for another issue?
Has he worked on anything else since then?
I can't remember the name of the artist...

Was the debut issue the first part of My First Maniac? Or was it the debut issue for the publisher who shall not be named?

The very first issue to come out featured the first appearance of Bobby Brunswick. That's the one I mentioned. Sorry for not clarifying that. I wonder if Stefano will be coming back for future issues. The guy's skill is amazing. I like his style. It isn't forced. He has a natural ability.

When I first saw this cover I immediately thought it was Stefano, but it's by Emilio Laiso.

Now that's the look I associate with Hack/Slash
Wonder if it's just the cover or insides too...

The cover is beyond dynamic. We need more covers like this with any title.

The guy who did the cover above, he also has a few H/S splash pages on his DA profile.

I mean check out the detail on the van..

Speaking of the van, I can't tell what the pages are for because of the van. I'd say the pages are for an upcoming issue of H/S but Cassie and Vlad no longer have the van, it went boom thanks to Libby.

If anyone wants to see the other three pages just go here..

Edit: I see the spoiler code doesn't work.. Well I doubt anyone out there is still on dialup.
