I'm in the process of translating the first five issues for a foreign publisher, and I have trouble deciphering the weird ghost's speech pattern at times. In Issue 1, after he is spotted by Cooper, I did get :

"Where's the baby?"
"Blue cheeks"

But I don't get "ississsikk ullll teeeeeerrzzz" (I guess the last one is "tears").

Any ideas, people ?

Got my #1-6 signed by Tim this weekend gone. Lovely guy and very reasonable sketch prices.

Hi everyone, please call me a moron, because I only just read Revival TPB #1 and I enjoyed the shit out of it. This is an well-written horror book with rock solid art and great character development with the lead protagonist, Dana. I also appreciate the setting as I have a lot of ties to central Wisconsin (my wife is from there) and a lot of the local vibe, including Hmong culture, climate, etc is very similar to where I live. Awesome stuff and I vow to catch up to the monthly issues. First, I gotta get my hands on TPB #2.

Its a fanatastic book. Seeley has written a great cast of characters, with great dialogue and interaction. I'm totally unfamiliar with all the local stuff you talk about(born and raised in NYC) but it all feels very "real" to me. I think this is one of the 3 best books Image is putting out right now. Glad to see another board regular picking up on it.

Almost caught up - I'm going to pick up the back issues that dropped after TPB volume two and try to get through them this weekend.

One other nice local nod I saw in volume 1 that I forgot to mention was a Doomtree poster. Pretty fuckin' awesome

I'll be on the lookout for some Bangarang! I got all the single issues that I need after TPB volume 2 and plan to read up to the current issue over the holidays. Stoked to be in on the discussion here without fear of spoilers

Hah, you weren't kidding!! Just finished issue 13 and not only do I get a full rendition of the entire Doomtree crew, but a sweet illustration of First Avenue (my 2nd fave music venue) and the Minneapolis skyline. So cool
