Why not a thread for random sharing of what we got today?

I got:
INVINCIBLE 81
LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN 1969
BUTCHER BAKER 5
And oddly Greg Pak sent a bunch of Vision Machine to my shop for people just to have. Full color. Glossy paper. Looks pretty sweet for free.
Left over from last week are Red Wing 1 and Avengelyne 1

Nice thread, lets see if we can keep it alive for more then two weeks this time!

Because I get many of my books in monthly installments I won't be able to mini-review many of my pulls in a timely fashion, but I will put up what I'm getting.

LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN CENTURY: 1969 (picked this up today from my local shop due to being an unexpected surprise. I shall read it promptly!)
NIKOLIA DANTE: TOO COOL TO KILL TP (I already own this, as the DC comic's release Nikolia Dante: The Romanov Dynasty. I'm picking up this release to replace the old one, as it was cheaply made and doesn't match the rest of my Rebellion TPs)
TERMINATOR ROBOCOP: KILL HUMAN 1 (forgot about this one. Two of my favorite 2000 AD alum, Rob Williams and PJ Holden, teaming up for a pretty cool sounding crossover.)

Unexpectedly, Doug Tennapel's latest OGN Bad Island turned up this week also. Its not any any Diamond release list, it must be coming out officially next week. Yay though. Doug Tennapel is one of best.

This is what I got this week. A lot of DC which is unusual for me. No Marvel. It was a weird week.

Savage Dragon #172... of course! :roll:

Batman Retroactive 1980's... because I'm a Jerry Bingham fan.
Jonah Hex #70... Been getting it when Jordi Bernet draws it. Almost didn't get this issue until I saw Ryan Sook penciled a large
portion of it. That got me.
Batman: Knight of Vengeance #3 of 3... Because it's Brian Azzarello & Eduardo Risso doing a Batman comic you fools!

What I almost got, and will almost likely go back to pick up...
Wonder Woman Retroactive 1980's... because Rich Buckler drew it, and he's a pimp.

What the LCS didn't have and I'll be stopping at another LCS for...
Scalped #51... because it's a kick ass comic with beautiful art by R.M. Guera. Get educated.
Savage Dragon #172... yeah gonna buy a second copy. Always get 2 when I have finmail printed.

New Comic WEEK!

My Pulls for 8/10/11

THE RED WING 2 (First issue was pretty cool)
VERTIGO RESURRECTED JONNY DOUBLE 1 (I am in LOVE with DC's 100-Page Spectacular reprints. Chunky, inexpensive, and of stuff that would probably never get collected otherwise)
2000 AD PACK JUNE 2011 (I'm actually only speculating this will be out this week. It usually turns up a week earlier then the diamond shipping list says. Should contain Progs 1736 - 1740. We'll see)
