Hi I was wondering how does Science explain the Slasher?, I mean I'm fan of the Hack/Slash series from DDP but there something I don't get.


Slasher comes in two type Undead and Living, the Undead are uselly created when the Final Girl kills a normal Living Slasher in special way. Now the Living Slasher is basicly a walking tank so to speak there stats are pumped beyond Olympic level, they can take so much pain and damage that a normal person serious or life threating hurt and major hostipal time.

To use Science to create a Slasher one would have to use a Super Steroid like Venom, but it would have side effects like causing users to become highly Agressive. The main ingredient of the drug would be from Living Slashers themselves and that it would be firist delveoped by the USA Army in the 80's as way to there Footsolider more Aggressive in combact but it would later find it way to the street.

The other point I ewanted to make is about the Final Girl, like Cassie Hack. After defeated a Slasher they don't have a happy every after ending to there lives, these girls ended up ether in rubber room hotel or become Slashers themselves.


I know that Teenage and Young Adult Males aren't shown in good light in the Slasher setting, that they are usally guity of some crimes that they are protraded as Oversexed and Overindulged in there lifestyles, but what about those normal male Teens and Young Adults who are caught up in wrong place wrong time?.


I also want to know if Slashing is in the Gentic due to the fact that Cassie Hack's Mother was a living Slasher,


This again goes to the science of a Slasher, also in my view there people as well they have thoughts and feelings, no one is born a Slasher something happens to a person in there Bio life that turns them into a walking tank and there perfect anti-hero

Interesting theory. As a fan of the slasher genre, I think it's pretty well explained about what a slasher is. Someone who died a wrongful death and has come back filled with rage, partly because of neglecting, (Friday the 13th) Jason Voorhees supposedly drowned, but in the sequel, it was explained, his body was never found. He was still living, yet he had a force in him that went off the moment he seen his vengeful mother decapitated which by all means, she did not come back as a slasher. Jason kept coming back because he supposedly died a wrongful death, only he didn't, he had rage in him that kept him from really dying.

There has been a final boy if you will, in Tommy Jarvis, the one who killed Jason, only haunted by his visions of Jason still being alive, he went ahead and brought him back to life (Friday the 13th Part 6 Jason Lives) He's been in mental ward after mental ward. He was able to put Jason in his supposed resting place, back in Crystal Lake.

Freddy Krueger well he's just plain evil, he's driven by the power of Dream Demons.

Victor Crowley, he was struck in the face with a hatchet in Adam Green's slasher film Hatchet. He was another tragic figure.

I guess it depends on the type of story. If it's just a serial killer going around and killing people, that's it, it's just a serial killer. There's so much material out there on how Slashers which are called Revenants, exist and what makes them what they are.

Well my verison of Slashers there are Two type living walking tanks and the Undead ones, yes they are Psychopathic in behavior and deeds but there Human too dispight there pumped stats.

I did mention about an idea for a Super Steroid originally developed by the USA Army it's main ingredient is gathered from living Slashers that are held down on a table, also the Anti Hero ascept of these characters. The Drug like Venom from that Bane used is on the streets and causing a whole group of nasty side effects for heavy users like highten Aggression and Psychopathic actions, which turned local police stations into Fort Apaches like in Predator 2 movie given since the 1990's that this Drug first showed up on the street level.

Female Slashers are very rare, and when they are shown in person they are very unlady like. Macho in behavior and dressing,

Cassie Hack I still say has the potenial to become a Slasher, due to the fact of her Mother being one it might by carried in the blood.

It would be cool to see Cassie in an alternate world, where Cassie has been killed and has returned as a slasher. The Cassie we know in the normal world is somehow sent there and she has to stop her Slasher-Self who killed Vlad. Just an idea of what I would like to see if it was a "What if?" scenario. Perhaps a glimpse of things to come for Cassie.

The Drug idea sounds cool. An organization who abducts teenagers who are violent and have homicidal tendencies, they're experimented on and become Slashers, only they're controlled, like every bad Sci-Fi movie, the company loses control and those slashers are on the loose.
