Another really solid issue. I'm really enjoying how Markhum uses his smarts to come up with solutions. He's a tough guy but he's not the Punisher who justs mows the opposition. He uses his brains to solve the problems. I really liked the tough police lady and was glad that she stuck to her guns and didn't just forgive him because he helped her. The art seemed a little dark this issue. I know it's supposed to be gritty but it seemed maybe a little ink heavy? Still a good looking book.

i finally got around to reading #3. i'll be sticking with this book for a while- i like the episodic nature of the book. Jay, any plans of possilbe multiple-issue stories to liven things up when Markham gets over his head?

Sometimes -- issues #4 and #5 comprise a two-parter, then it's back to single issues for #6, #7, and #8. Not sure what'll happen past that.
