I'm still around. :D Mainly in the Alex Grecian, Jay Faerber and Image Central sections. There hasn't been too much activity in this section and I'm still bummed at how much good info was lost after the conversion to the new board. If they told us that was coming, alot of info could've been saved.

I've only been to one shop since #22 came out. They only had one of the covers and I didn't pick it up (I'm waiting on my DCBservice order to come in), nor did I really look at it closely.

Ras, I'm slammed with work right now so I don't often go to shops, but if I find nice copies, do you want me to grab them for you?

The corners definitely sound like a printing process problem - bindery corners or whatever they call them. Many early Invincibles had this problem. It depends on if / when they saw it in the print run. The later books in the print run may be fine, but your area may have gotten only printing defect copies. The thumb dent is an odd one.

Rob, since you are checking this out, do you know yet if the Smorgusbord edition will have more stuff (extras) on top of the Omnivores? Or will it be 2 omnivores put together with even bigger pages?

@Ras: Based on the details of your many experiences with damaged comics, I've deduced that your retailer hates you. Sorry.

Seriously, if you need copies in better conditions, email chewcomicsales@gmail.com and ask my wife for them. If you cover the cover price, plus shipping, we'll be glad to send them out.

@400yrs: Looks like the Smorgasbord will probably have at least one complete script, probably plus some of the stuff from the Omnivores and something new (mainly because I hate recycling old stuff too much).

Hey Rob this may just be a rumor I heard on the interwebs but is it true your doing some work for IDW's TMNT title? If you are that will be pretty cool to see the turtles Guillory style!

Rob, sorry I somehow missed your previous post. I think I'm okay with the copies I found, but I really appreciate the offer. It's good you're looking out for the fans.

Going to have to buy that TMNT issue. Have you ever done any Spider-Man, whether professionally or for a convention sketch? I wish they'd get you on a variant cover at the very least. I bet you could rock the classic Peter Parker/Spider-Man half-face.
